Websites for auction houses and salerooms: your lots on your own site within the hour, and the enquiry on your desk first

You already keep your lots up to date for the live-bidding platforms. The same feed can run a site you own, fast enough to score 100 on Google's own test, where a bidder finds the lot, sends the enquiry to you, and never sees a competitor's stock beside yours.

What it is like now

  • The bidding platform takes a cut of every hammer and owns the bidder list.
  • Your catalogue is a PDF and your site cannot search it.
  • Consignors want to see results and buyers want to see what is coming, and neither can.

What we build for auction houses

  • Catalogues online, searchable by lot, category and estimate
  • Timed online bidding with deposits, identity checks and a bidder account
  • Results archive that ranks for every maker and category you have sold
  • Consignor portal with valuations, lot status and settlement

What it looks like in practice

A saleroom's catalogue is a PDF and its bidding runs through a platform that takes a cut of every hammer and owns the bidder list. We put catalogues online, searchable by lot, category and estimate; timed online bidding with deposits, identity checks and a bidder account; a results archive that ranks for every maker you have sold; and a consignor portal with valuations, lot status and settlement.

What a website costs for auction houses and salerooms

Most auction houses need the Platform tier, from €20,000, delivered in 10 to 14 weeks, paid 40 / 40 / 20, or 12 monthly payments. That includes your lots fed from your own system, a page per lot, the filters your buyers use, enquiry capture with alerts, sector pages, structured data, 100/100 on Google's speed test at launch, and your hosting, domain and code in your name.

After launch, most take the Managed care plan at €195 a month: hosting, backups, updates, monitoring, unlimited content edits and two hours of development a month, cancel any month. If the site you have now only needs its faults fixed rather than replacing, single fixes start at €350 and the free audit names them.

Typical ticket for a lot in your trade is €50 to €50,000 a lot; one enquiry that comes to you instead of to the live-bidding platforms covers a lot of website. The full menu, with the five-year comparison, is on the pricing page.

Questions auction houses ask

We cannot leave the live-bidding platform for the big sales.
You do not have to. Timed sales and the catalogue live on your site; the live platform stays for the events that need it, and your bidder list is yours either way.
Identity checks and deposits are a legal requirement for us.
Built in: ID capture, a card deposit through Stripe before a bid is accepted, and a full audit trail per lot.
Can consignors see how their lots are doing?
Yes. A consignor login with valuation, lot status, hammer price and settlement date.

Check your own site first

Free, on screen in seconds. The faults a bidder actually hits on your homepage, and what each one costs you.

Free, on screen in about ten seconds, no call. We fetch your homepage once, the way a visitor's browser does, and nothing else.

Before you compare quotes

Five questions to ask anyone quoting you, and our answers

Where is the work actually done?
Here, by the person you are talking to. Nothing is passed to a white-label shop in another time zone without telling you, because nothing is passed anywhere.
Who can see my enquiry data, and under what agreement?
You, and us while we build or maintain it, under a written data-processing agreement. Your customers' details never leave infrastructure in your name.
What happens on day 31?
The same as day 1. Fixed-price builds carry a 90-day warranty on defects; care plans run month to month; nothing expires when the invoice clears.
Who owns the code, the hosting and the domain?
You do, from the first commit. Your repository, your hosting account, your registrar. Written into the quote.
What does Google's own speed test say about it?
100/100 at launch on every build we ship, or you do not pay the final instalment. Run it yourself, on any page of the proof site, right now.
